Intentional Interim
Pastor Brad is married to The Rev. Pam Schroeder, and together they have two adult children named Emily and Byron. His daughter, Emily, is married and they have one child named Grady who is Pastor Brad's first grandchild! Pastor's entire family lives in central Iowa – which serves as his home base when he deploys for Intentional Interim postings or global work.
As time permits he enjoys reading, fishing with his grandson, and hunting. He recently got the opportunity to go on an excursion down south, where he went on a very successful feral hog hunt (As shown on the right). Lastly, he is an avid, though purely amateur, historian of the U.S. Civil War.
The Rev. Dr. Brad Miller is a Lutheran Pastor with over 30 years of ordained ministry experience. He is fully trained and certified as an International Interim Pastor. Ha spends his professional time ministering to congregations in transition. His global ministry has involved work in more than 40 countries – Including 13 trips to India and multiple war zone visits to Iraq and Ukraine. He has preached in Cairo, Illinois, and Iowa. He has ministered on 6 continents and many islands. He is the author of several books, including "The Church Health and Growth Primer", as well as "The Interim Ministry Primer", and "The Servant Leader Small Catechism", plus "What Kind of Tractor Is Your Church?" He has created a variety of assessment tools for congregations, such as "ChurchTech's Fruitbearing Congregational Health Assessment", and "Interim Exacerbators".
