Meet our Pastor, Staff & Council
Welcome Craig Payne as Our Lay Interim Pastor
We are excited to welcome Craig Payne as our Lay Interim Pastor at First Lutheran!
Craig is a professor at Indian Hills Community College, where he teaches classes in Humanities, including Philosophy, Religion, Literature, Biblical Studies, and History of Humanities.
Craig has been providing pulpit supply at First Lutheran for more than a year, and during that time, we have come to appreciate his strong faith, teaching, and love for God’s Word. We believe God has called Craig to serve with us as our Lay Interim Pastor as we continue to seek a permanent ordained Lutheran pastor.
Craig brings a solid faith background and shares the core beliefs and values of First Lutheran. We are grateful for his willingness to serve our congregation.
Please join us in welcoming Craig and praying for him and our congregation during this time of transition.
